AIRO: An Ontology for Representing AI Risks Based on the Proposed EU AI Act and ISO Risk Management Standards

چکیده
The growing number of incidents caused by (mis)using Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a matter concern for governments, organisations, and the public. To control harmful impacts AI, multiple efforts are being taken all around world from guidelines promoting trustworthy development use, to standards managing risks regulatory frameworks. Amongst these efforts, first-ever AI regulation proposed European Commission, known as Act, prominent it takes risk-oriented approach towards regulating use within systems. In this paper, we present Risk Ontology (AIRO) expressing information associated with high-risk systems based on requirements Act ISO 31000 series standards. AIRO assists stakeholders in determining ‘high-risk’ systems, maintaining documenting risk information, performing impact assessments, achieving conformity regulations. show its usefulness, model existing real-world use-cases AIAAIC repository AI-related risks, determine whether they high-risk, produce documentation EU’s Act.

Estimation of Gas Mixture Compressibility Factor and Viscosity based on AI and Experimental DataEstimation of Gas Mixture Compressibility Factor and Viscosity based on AI and Experimental Data
Compressibility factor and viscosity of natural gasses are of great importance in petroleum and chemical engineering. To calculate the natural gas properties in the pipelines, storage systems and reservoirs, the exact values of gas compressibility factor and viscosity are required. A new method that allows accurate determination of compressibility factor and gas viscosity for all types of: swee...
متن کاملRisks and Mitigation Strategies for Oracle AI
There is no strong reason to believe human level intelligence represents an upper limit of the capacity of artificial intelligence, should it be realized. This poses serious safety issues, since a superintelligent system would have great power to direct the future according to its possibly flawed goals or motivation systems. Oracle AIs (OAI), confined AIs that can only answer questions, are one...
متن کاملImpact of Ontology on Modern AI
In the early 1950’s , during the onset of Modern AI , AI was more focused on designing intelligent systems capable of mimicking human behavior from simple problem solving and having a perception to thinking. However, even if it were possible to design and model such robots or intelligent programs, the problem would remain that robots and programs could not know that problems existed to be solve...
متن کاملIR and AI: The role of ontology
This paper concerns the role of ontology in Information Retrieval (IR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). First, it discusses the relation between IR and AI in a general way. It also gives an introduction of ontology, which could bridge the gap between IR and AI in a certain sense. This paper provides some case studies on either using IR techniques (mainly co-occurrence theory) to semi-automatic...

This paper reports on the development of the Smart Workkow for isr Management (swim) system which has been designed to enable complex systems, business and software, to be controlled within the workkow management paradigm. The system exploits recent advances within the ai community in reac-tive control, scheduling and continuous execution. swim extends the workkow paradigm to respond to the dyn...
